The comedy is the best part of the show so far, I’m commenting on this 12 minutes into the first episode
edit: if anyone knows that spider isekai show with the abomination of 3D animation, this show utilizes the 3D infinitely better
Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka? (So what if I’m a Spider?); certainly true, though I never minded the early parts of their 3D usage. It wasn’t until after exiting the cave/later episodes that I felt it got a little messy/overused. Nevertheless, 100% agree with your statement though.
good “overlord” substitute
(Posting after episode 3): Got those “Overlord” vibes as well (Mixed with Maou-Sama Retry/basic Demon Lord RPG Player Isekai trope trash) and went straight for the Manga. Reading that and coming back to this, I feel like the pacing is either going to be kinda off or fast-forwarded/skipping a lot, depending on when they decide to place episode 12, plot-wise. I don’t expect it to and pacing actually means quite a bit in all forms of media, animation, writing and panel-drawn stories alike. It can feel like absolutely nothing happens in a chapter/episode, or one could over-cram so much that you feel like you fast-forwarded an entire story arc in a single episode. Pacing is what differentiates the two types of storytelling, and the pacing of this series is very drawn out. Again, it’s certainly not something to deter me from the show, and I don’t mean to spoil anything; it’s not a bad thing to pick up a series’… Read more »
the fact that this anime got VERY mediocre villains and betrayal, it almost hurts to watch
This Anime reminds me of Overlord
started off with rape, then a lot of real real weak comedy, then pacing issues then its over. oh well
