I think the scene uploaders mixed the episodes …
This (e01) should be Episode 2 and the one marked e02 should be Episode 1 – to get the flow of the story …
I don’t reckon it is meant to be retrospective ( landing in the major part of the story event in episode 1 – then seeing the beginning of the event in episode 2 )

it pays to not try to watch episodes on a hand held (and a long work day saps the concentration… !)
I did watch on a larger screen and yes did note in the last phrase of episode 2 there is mention of the attacked village in E01 … …

We didn’t see any sync issue but updated episode 6 just to be sure.
hmm I dunno fam, its like 3 episodes in and we have super strong main hero, no character development. Into 3rd episode talking about world ending dragon that is going to wipe out the continent? Into some ritual 30 years prior being told, and not show n throw animation? hmm kinda strange, not sure on this pacing. hmm hmm Its fun light hearted maybe Pg-13 animation but. The story pacing is off.
pro tip: watch on 1.25x (or higher).
pretty basic isekai, but the slimes were kawaii
i will give this a shot, but nothing has compared to “harem in the labyrinth of another world” so far. that anime is top tier.
